25th Class Reunion And they’re off! You can’t think of the first weekend in October in Lexington without also thinking of opening weekend at Keeneland. The fall meet begins Friday, October 5. Post time on Fri, Sat, & Sun is 1:15 p.m., general admission is $3 or reserved seating can be secured online at www.keeneland.com. Fun for the family or just hang out with a group of friends! Are you ready for some football? Well you won’t get to see the UK Wildcats play this weekend – it’s the only Saturday night in October they don’t have a home game. See how well that worked out for our Saturday night party? We wouldn’t want you to be torn between activities! But if you want to catch your beloved Tates Creek Commodores play on Friday night October 5th , you’ll have to go into enemy territory to watch them. Tates Creek vs. Lafayette at the General’s home field starts at 7:30 p.m. Cool off at our Ice Cream Social! On Saturday, October 6th from 1-3 p.m. we have Shelter #3 at Shillito Park off Reynolds Road reserved for those of you brave enough to be a child again. We’ll provide the makings for spectacular ice cream sundaes and games for kids of all ages (and the playground is nearby). You just come and enjoy. There is no charge; attendance is optional.
The Signature Event!
The big reunion party
will be held Saturday night, October 6th from 7:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m.
at the
Signature Club
(formerly the
Lansdowne Club, site of our 5 yr. reunion.) If you haven’t been here
in a while, you won’t believe the multi-million dollar rebuild of this
facility! We’ll have a party going on with live entertainment, excellent food,
cold beverages, and event photography (which will be posted for free on the web
site
www.tc82.com after the fact). Sounds like a fun time, huh? So register already!! What are you waiting for? You only have a 25th reunion once in your life. To reserve your spot, send in a check or money order for $40pp by September 21st (unless you want the special procrastinator’s price of $45pp if you miss the deadline, but it costs you more and messes up our food planning, so why wait?) |
